We were sadden to hear of Joe's death. My brother, John Feeley, and I grew up in Yorkville on the same street just a few buildings from where Joe and his brother, Jackie, lived. I played basketball with Joe and his friend Billy Spade. Both were great basketball players, much better than I was. I remember Joe having large hands and could palm a basketball without any problem. Both were great baseball and softball players. Joe was also a good swimmer. He was on his high school (I think Textile HS) swim team. We lost track of the Driscolls when I and my brother joined the US Marines in Feb 1951 during the Korean War. Joe joined the Navy. Patrick M.
