He was my dearest friend, a brother in my heart, a unique and genuine person. He wanted only for others to enjoy life with him. His character was that of a mature thoughtfulness with just enough innocence. His desire to learn and try new things was indeed infectious. Chuck possessed this wonderful quality of making all who met him feel comfortable in his presence. There was no pretense. He commanded a rare and wise soul. An emotional wound was opened that will be difficult to heal in the absence of this kind and noble gentleman. We will miss him, but we will never forget him.
