The only thing new about the fact that you are a superhero is that the world now realizes this. I am sorry that it took the September 11th tragedy to bring this to light. You dedicated your life to helping others. You gave your life that others may go on living. There is no award or medal on earth good enough to honor you for what you have done. I only pray that heaven's rewards can do this. Rest in peace Eric. We will never forget.
