Frederick when he was a member of the Montserrat Police in the 1980s. We once discussed his thought of retiring and moving to New York City and beginning a new career in law enforcement. I discouraged it, suggesting that policing in New York might be much more stressful, discouraging & dangerous than policing in Montserrat. That, of course, was before terrorism raised its ugly head in New York.
How ironic & tragic that he moved to London instead & subsequently was taken by the same kind of senseless violence that wounded New York in 2001. We honor his memory.
