My life was touched by this fine American while we served together in Bco 2/504th PIR. Mike was always there for all of those who needed him. He was as excited as I was to see my first daughter born in January of 2002 and I will never forget the times we spent together in training and in Garrison. I knew that when I served with him in his first tour in Afghanistan, he was truly in his element. He had many gifts and it is truly an honor to have known and served with such a great man.
