I was not fortunate enough to have known Gerry however my cousin Frankie Straub served with him and Gerry was his best friend. I will never forget the stories Frankie would tell me, he told me the one how Gerry got his nickname and he had so many pictures with him. I wish i could have meet him however I believe they were called to war for a reason that is they were then called to Heaven. Together they faught, together they die, together they will look down on us, together they will rest in peace, together they will wait for our arivle to the Heavens above. Remember they died doing what they loved and they died for their country and family as well. They died along side one another as they joined with one another they were called to the Heavens together aswell. They will always be missed and NEVER forgotten. They are both in my heart and forever they will stay.
