My husband came home for R&amp;R and the one thing he left in my care when he returned to Afghanistan was his memorial bracelet for Curtiss for safe keeping. I've seen several of the men that served alongside him that wear their bracelets for Curtiss still even though they have become scratched and faded. He and 4th platoon were deeply affected by the loss of their comrad.
